Star Wars Battlefront II will be available worldwide on November 17, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Origin for PC. The trailer also touts the new single-player campaign mode, which was actually what Boyega was asking from the 2015 game.

Simply called "This is Star Wars Battlefront 2", the trailer is narrated by Star Wars actor John Boyega as he takes us on a tour of everything you'll find in the game at launch. The new five-minute trailer features a host of new gameplay from across the board, so whether you're just looking for new space battles, massive set-pieces in large-scale multiplayer fights or some more single-player footage, you're catered for.

For maps, it includes 18 locations spanning from three generations of Star Wars. Its handsome visuals and strong IP was severely impacted by the lack of a single player campaign, samey multiplayer gameplay modes and a perceived lack of content at launch.

As related by Boyega, the multiple game options and upgradable heroes and ships make the title seem very enticing. You'll also have the opportunity to play a number of Battle Scenarios - specially orchestrated Arcade matches that you'll be able to face either alone or, in the console version of the game, with a friend.

EA took to two separate posts to detail various Star Wars: Battlefront 2 maps and modes.

Finally, we get a look at the new Arcade mode, which supports offline, online, and split-screen.
