Micromax Canvas Infinity with 5.7-inch Full Vision display goes official

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.7-HD IPS display along with a 720x1440 pixels resolution in 18:9 ratio for enhanced viewing experience. Micromax announced their latest smartphone - the Micromax Canvas Infinity into the markets. The first sale will be at 12 noon on 1s September, 2017. The company has also promised an upgrade to the Google's new "Android Oreo" operating system.

On 22 August at an event in New Delhi, Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax launched the Micromax Canvas Infinity at an incredibly low price of Rs 9,999.

Other than the focus on cutting down on bezels, Micromax is also hoping to attract selfie lovers with a 16MP front-facing camera. The power-key button and volume up-down keys are all placed on the right-hand edge of the device and a 3.5mm audio jack is placed on the very top edge of the phone.

Micromax Canvas Infinity is backed by a 2900mAh battery which gives up to 20 hours of talk-time. The display is also protected by a scratch resistance 2.5D curved glass display.

The Canvas Infinity is a delight for selfie lovers as it come with a 16-megapixel camera with soft selfie flash, f/20 aperture and face beauty modes. Under the hood, the Micromax Canvas Infinity is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clubbed with Adreno 308 GPU to handle the graphics.

Memory and Storage: The Canvas Infinity features 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Inside the Canvas Infinity is a 2,900mAh battery, which should get a full day without any issue, stated Indian Express who have been using the phone much before launch. Micromax is also offering a 24-hour fix or replace policy across select Micromax express service centers. The rear camera is a 13 MP f/2.0 unit with a feature that Micromax is calling "Super Pixel". It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

The phone's connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, and OTG support (up to 64GB).
