Outside of the new cars, the Switch version of Rocket League will also get new items in the form of Mario and Luigi hats for use on any non-licensed vehicle, as well as a Super Star rocket boost equippable only on the Mario NSR and Luigi NSR. Players will be hoping that RNG is on their side, however, as item unlocks in Rocket League are entirely random. Regardless of the color, the auto features the Super Star boost that leaves behind a trail of stars. Likewise, the "Wave Beam" Rocket Boost is exclusive to "Samus" Gunship'.
