Kings XI Punjab slumped to their lowest-ever Indian Premier League total as they missed out on a play-off spot at the benefit of Rising Pune Supergiant, who claimed a nine-wicket win. The victor of this game will directly get the way to play in the IPL 2017 final. On the bowling front, JaydevUnadkatwill be expected to continue the good work he has done through the season; the left-arm pacer has played ten matches so far, and has picked up at least one wicket in each outing.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (captain), Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Johnson, K Gowtham, Karn Sharma, Saurabh Tiwary, A Gunarathna, K Khejroliya, Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga, Harbhajan Singh, Ambati Rayudu, Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Gopal, Lendl Simmons, Vinay Kumar, Parthiv Patel, Mitchell McClenaghan, Nitish Rana, Siddhesh Lad, J Suchith, Hardik Pandya, Jos Buttler, Tim Southee, Jithesh Sharma, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Punia.

Stokes - paid a record AUD$2.8 million to play the eight-week IPL season - was instrumental to Pune reaching the knockout phase after a brilliant debut campaign in the cash-rich Twenty20 competition. Some or the other player has performed for them this season, but the Stephen Fleming coached side would not like to depend on one single player in tomorrow's game.

Mumbai Indians, contrary to what they've generally done in the past, established momentum very early in the season. But, RPS need to grow up to win their next games of this IPL 2017 playoffs. So, the RPS need to find the flawless replacement on upcoming matches. They will face Mumbai Indians in the qualifier match on Tuesday (May 16) at Mumbai.

It is hard for the RPS to bring any new player at this end of series for finals. Over the last two years he has played only two matches, one each for Daredevils and Knight Riders respectively. Some of the predictors recommended the name of Australian batsman, Usman Khawaja.

Each team will play 14 matches, i.e. seven home games and the same number of away matches. Guptill and Morgan were the senior most experienced players, but none of them batted at least 12-15 overs. They are also the first team to have beaten Mumbai both times in this edition of the IPL while holding an edge at Wankhede stadium too. Mumbai seems on the stronger side but Pune has also disappointed Mumbai twice will have to wait for tonight decider as both the team will hunt for a place in final.

Kings XI Punjab's last match is on Sunday against Rising Pune Supergiant. He does not have the best bowling attack in the business, so it will largely be his batting that would make the difference if the Pune franchise wants to make a big case against MI.

When to compare with the RPS, the MI is better in their Playing XI at present. The past game on Wankhede witnessed an almost-achieved chase of 231 runs.
