First Lady Melania Trump visited the Children's National Health System in Washington to help the hospital mark the official opening of a healing garden dedicated to all the first ladies of the USA, the media reported.

Melania said, "It has always been my belief that the nurturing and positive environment is vital to the health and well-being of all children".

In February, the first lady of Japan, accompanied her husband to Washington, but Melania was noticeably absent.

The first lady, who has not been as visible as her predecessors during the first 100 days, continues to live in Trump Tower during the week, but she plans to move into the White House full-time after son Barron, 11, completes the school year.

The First Lady of United States arrived at the White House with President Donald Trump on Inauguration Day but has been mostly absent ever since and continues to live in NY with her only child. "She gave an answer, and she's cool".

The US press often portrays her and Jared as moderating influences over a president hot to temper, but there has been little evidence that their assumed progressive views have tempered policy decisions. She polished off the look with her signature blowout and smoky eye as she posed for a photo op. She was most recently in the headlines for nudging her husband into raising his arm for the national anthem at the Easter egg roll.

This is a much different picture than inauguration day, when President Trump awkwardly left her behind while greeting the Obama's.

But several weeks later, when Queen Rania of Jordan visited, Melania was on hand.

During the campaign, Mrs. Trump promised to combat cyberbullying as first lady.

She settled a lawsuit with the Daily Mail that alleged she worked as an escort in the 1990s.

"That's so nice", she said. But that doesn't mean she hasn't been busy. First ladies dating to Bess Truman have visited the hospital at Christmastime, and some have supported Children's National in other ways, too.

"He wanted to start, in the greatest haste, to remake the area near his office at the west end of the White House, known as the Rose Garden, into an area both useful and attractive?"
