Trump to hold rally on night of White House Correspondents Dinner

Trump Tweeted today he "will be holding a BIG rally in Pennsylvania" April 29. Sanctuary cities must cooperate with immigration authoritiesThe announcement comes the day after the Trump administration intensified its threats to crack down on sanctuary cities that refuse to comply with federal immigration authorities.

The rally will be held April 29 in Harrisburg, the same day as Trump marks the 100th day of his presidency, Politico reported.

The White House did not offer additional details about where the rally would take place or what Trump's focus would be, referring questions to Trump's campaign apparatus.

Trump on Saturday also said he plans to announce new tax reforms next week.

There have been mixed reviews of Trump's first 100 days and he has received some criticism for Congress' inability to repeal and replace The Affordable Care Act, among other things.

Trump's decision is another thumb-in-the-eye to the White House press corps after months of tension and acrimony between the president and the reporters who cover him.
