"Then, they should officially dismiss them in a party communique", former minister K P Munusamy, who is in Panneerselvam's camp said.
He claimed that he had told Dinakaran that he will get a favourable verdict from the Election Commission of India in the party symbol case, he said.
The surprise development had come on a day when Panneerselvam made the merger talks between the two camps contingent upon the ruling AIADMK faction ejecting Sasikala and Dinakaran, who is standing-in for his jailed aunt.
Sasikala was elected the AIADMK General Secretary in December after Chief Minister Jayalalithaa died.
Reports emerged on Wednesday morning claiming that the party has united after ousting General Secretary VK Sasikala and her nephews including Dinakaran, who has been booked on bribery charges by the Delhi Police.

A committee will be formed soon to run the day-to-day affairs of the party, he said.
However, a handful of MLAs, including prominent former minister Thanga Tamizh Selvan told reporters that general secretary and deputy could not be removed from the party by ministers, but only by a properly convened meeting of the party's decision-making bodies like the executive or the general council.
Whether the AIADMK factions will merge remains uncertain.
He is scheduled to discuss the situation arising out of the revolt by the ministers, party sources said.
He said the families of Dinakaran and Sasikala had undergone sufferings and also contributed to the party's growth.

Team OPS also demanded a CBI probe into late CM Jayalalithaa's death.
Thambi Durai's meeting with governor C Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan also set tongue wagging but the he described it as a courtesy call.
When asked for a comment, AIADMK (Amma) spokesperson Theeran says, "It happens in politics as they tend say to react on the spur of the moment".
The OPS faction has stressed that AIADMK has to complete all formalities on removal of Sasikala and her family members for the merger to be effective.
