Nintendo will reveal a "full accounting of worldwide Nintendo Switch" sales during the company's next earnings briefing, which is scheduled for April 27.

The Switch was Nintendo's fastest selling gaming system for the United States market in its launch month, according to Nintendo. That makes Nintendo Switch one of the fastest-selling video game systems of all time.

After boasting about the Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's strong launches in March, Nintendo has finally offered concrete numbers about just how strong those sales were. Following the tremendous release of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" on the Nintendo Switch, the "Splatoon 2" is considered as the next big thing for Nintendo's latest gaming system, VG 24/7 reported. Nintendo answered that question yesterday with a presentation devoted to the Arms fighting game and Splatoon 2 third-person shooter, which will debut on June 16 and July 21, respectively.

Minecraft is a video game that has been created and designed by Markus Persson (also known as Notch), and later fully developed and published by Mojang.

Some fans speculated that this could mean that Overkill might be working to fix the game now so that it would not have the same issues when Nintendo Switch version arrives.

The Nintendo Switch game version sold 925,000 copies, while nearly 460,000 have been shipped so far on The Wii U. Nintendo has a decent selection of games that are sprinkled throughout the rest of the year for the console, which will hopefully keep the momentum going strong. One of which is the much-awaited Mario Kart 8 Deluxe coming on April 28th. The Nintendo Switch console goes on sale today and retails for 300 dollars. It is still not clear if Nintendo can extend the momentum of Switch given that the games releases are too few and far between.
